===== Driver installation =====
  * Click on the link below, and find ''ucom_pu300wb_drivers.zip'' and click to Download.

  * After downloading, open the folder, find ''RPP300Setup.exe'', and double-click to download.
  * Then install according to the installation instructions.
  * When jump out the message box "RPF300 Printer was created successfully", The RPF300 printer driver is successfully installed.

===== Virtual COM port installation =====
  * After successful download, you will find the RPF300 printer in **Settings** -> **Printers and Scanners**

  * Click RPF300 Printer, select **Manage**, and then select **Printer Properties**.
  * Find ''Port'' in the menu bar and click Enter.
  * Click ''Add Port''and click OK

  * Select ''Standard TCP/IP Port'' in the jump out message box to add port.
  * Then enter the port that the printer needs to use.

  * Select Standard Default for the device type, click next page.

  * Then you can see the basic information of the new port, check that if there are no problems, and then click **Finish**.
  * You will see that the available ports contain the new port we just set up, tick it and apply.

  * You can modify the name of the printer in **General**, like **RPP300 232**
  * If you have two RPP300 printers and want to install them on the same computer, you need to reinstall the print driver and follow the steps above to set up a new port for the new printer.
  * Don't forget to find **Advanced** in the menu bar of the **printer properties**, and select the same RPP300 print driver for both printers. This will ensure that what they print out is the same.

===== Wifi setup =====

==== Install Prolific_Driver====

  * This printer needs to be connected by using WiFi, so we need to configure the IP and Port for it.
  * First of all, We need to open the ''USB Virtual Com Driver'' folder, find ''PL2303_Prolific_GPS_1013_20090319.exe'', double-click to install.
  * After the installation is successful, please restart the computer.
  * Then we need to use a USB cable to connect the printer and the computer.
  * Open the Device Manager：
     * Settings -> System -> About -> Device Manager   **OR**  Enter "Computer Management" in the search box in the lower left corner and open it.

  * Click **Port**. If it shows like the image above, it shows like: PL2303HXA PHASED... , please unplug and reconnect the USB cable, until it shows like the image below.
  * Please make a note of the COM number in parentheses(like the image below, please make a note of COM3), We'll use that in the later step.

If there are more than ONE Prolific driver have been installed, choose "Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port Version: 3.3.2.105 [27/10/2008]. Newer version may NOT work properly.

==== Set WIFI and printer's IP ====
  * Open the ''WiFi Tools'' folder, find ''WifiTool.exe'', double-click to start it.
  * Please fill in the highlighted sections like the image below. For the Port, select the port that you noted earlier.
  * when you click **SET**, you will find the printer print three lines. That means you set the wifi successfully.

  * Click **IP** in the menu bar to set the printer's IP. Don't forget to choose the right port.
