Dokuwiki Two Factor Authentication
Download and install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile phone before you proceed.
In this guide, whenever it mentions the Google Authenticator app, use Microsoft Authenticator app instead as it is better.
First-time Login
- There will be a “Two Factor Authentication Token” box in the login screen.
- Just login with username and password, leave “Two Factor Authentication Token” blank.
- It will then re-direct to a page to ask you to enable “Two Factor Authentication”.
- You MUST choose the option “Create Google Authenticator QR Code”
- you could also choose the “Use the email registered…” option as a backup.
- Enter your login password in “Confirm current password” AGAIN.
- Click [Save]
- Now open your Microsoft Authenticator app to scan the QR code and then input the code in “Enter code from Google Authenticator”.
- If you have enable “Use the email registered…”, you could also check your email to get the verification code.
- Enter your login password in “Confirm current password” AGAIN.
- Click [Save]
- Now, you should login to the Questwork Wiki successfully. Just click the Questwork logo on top-left and start browsing.
- After login, you could change the “Two Factor Settings” in the menu.
- Enter your login password in “Confirm current password” again.
- Click [Save]
Login
- Next time, when you login, depends on your two factor settings.
- login with your username, password
- leave the “Two Factor Authentication Token” blank
- after login, it will ask you to enter the code as shown below
Microsoft Authenticator
- login with your username, password
- get the code from your Microsoft Authenticator app and input the code in “Two Factor Authentication Token” box
