Gmail Set up 2-Step Verification
Nowadays, most online email system will requires 2-Step Verification to protect your account. Please follow this guide to setup for Gmail.
- Open your browser and go to https://accounts.google.com
- Login with your email address and password as usual
- After login, click the “Security” on the left pane
- scroll down to find the “Signing in to Google > 2-Step Verification”
- The current status should be “Off” as shown below
- If you cannot see this, please contact us.
- click the “2-Step Verification” and then click [GET STARTED]
- google will ask you to login with your password again
- On the “Let's set up your phone” page
- choose the Country and enter your mobile numbe
- choose “Text message” and click [Next]
- Enter the 6-digits code you receive from Google and the click [NEXT]
- On the last page, click [TURN ON] to enable the 2-Step Verification
- Click the Back arrow < on top to go back previous screen, you should see the “2-Step Verification” status is ON now.
